Advocacy training was conducted on August 3, 2019, at Unitarian Universalist Church and August 4, 2019 at Lenoir-Rhyne University in Asheville, NC. Both workshops were focused on generating citizen support for 2019 NC House Bill 966 for new water management systems and ecological restoration of watersheds (which was reintroduced and passed in 2020 as NC House Bill 1087).
