At an early age we learn that we have to ask for help if we want to get our needs met. Later on, we discover how effective it is when we can collaborate with others to ensure that everyone’s needs are met.
That’s what lobbying is all about — working together, developing good relationships and having a solid plan on how to work effectively with your elected officials. Many of the laws that were meant to support and protect resources like food, water and energy are now inadequate for our growing population. We must do better than this.
